We just got this baby in and you know how hard it is to find a Scrambler in any condition.
Our featured Jeep has gone through an armature restoration with driver quality paint, the original wood rails on the sides of bed a cool set of black wheels with a thin red stripe.
The Scramblers are so popular as they were only produced from 1981-1986.
The original engine was retired and replaced with an upgraded 350 GM 4bbl carb, headers, aluminum radiator and flowmaster exhaust for a nice toned sound and adapted to the original Jeep 4 speed manual transmission.
Inside you will see some cool matching seat covers, a modern CD payer along with after market gauges for oil pressure, voltage and water temperature.
This scrambler also has Power steering and an after market steering wheel that gives it a nice grip when driving.
It has a very small amount of rust underneath in the body, the frame is good and solid ( see photos under for details ) The CJ-8 total production from what I have read is only 27,972 from 1981-1986 and specifically For 1983 there were only 5,405 units produced.
As you can see this is a pretty rare vehicle and you know many are trashed and or destroyed.
